Partnering with WhitingTurner, AHSa led the design for the conversion of a former grocery store into a medical office space. The renovation and addition resulted in 33 physician practices, a women’s center, an infusion center, and an imaging center with seven modalities. The construction was phased to accommodate the various fit out spaces. Temporary X-ray space was developed for use during construction. The final X-ray room was designed with adjacent control and equipment space to maintain visibility from operator to patient. AHSa selected and oversaw installation of equipment for the space including new elevating four-way float top table, new vertical Bucky Stand, full Xray equipment including Fuji Plate Reader system and control panels, and a new Discovery C Table and Operator Console (DEXA).
