In renovating its corporate headquarters, Cardinal Bank sought a higher quality work environment, room for expansion, and visibility for its brand as a modern bank. Clean lines and custom design reflect the company’s values. AHSa programmed two levels of the building to meet the bank’s current and future space requirements. Each floor, approximately 20,000 SF, was reorganized and renovated. AHSa analyzed results of questionnaires to identify space adjacencies and determined specific requirements for each department such as storage, furniture, fixture and equipment.
The client was completely integrated throughout the process, beginning with preliminary bubble diagrams that evolved into a series of Plans: Concept-Based, Programming, and Space.
