La-Z-Boy Asheville, NC Grand Opening
In September, Tipperary Sales, Inc. d.b.a. La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries/Home Furnishings and Décor opened their newest La-Z-Boy showroom in Asheville, NC.
The Asheville location is the third La-Z-Boy designed by AMMON HEISLER SACHS architects for Tipperary Sales, a family-owned independent La-Z-Boy operator. “Since I took the project once all construction was completed, I don’t have a hands-on basis from which to make a statement, only that everything I heard about you, Laura and your firm was top-notch. Communication and action was proactive and the work done was exemplary and to plan. The commercial real estate market in Asheville is extremely competitive. Working with the brokers and tenants, AHSa provided site evaluations and coordinated up front lease terms to ensure the space was turned over with the correct building systems that the new showroom would require. The competitive market also resulted in a slightly larger space for the new store – 21,000 SF over the usual 16,000 SF footprint. The new larger location, in a converted Office Depot, provides expanded showroom space and back of house operations including offices, breakroom, and restrooms.
